The Report on Wireless LAN War Driving Survey 2011 invited over 10 information security experts to conduct the war driving surveys, including the Tramway War Driving and Estates War Driving. Results showed that most of the users know how to encrypt when connecting to WiFi. Public awareness in WiFi security was keep increasing. Moreover, in order to have a full picture for the WiFi usage in Hong Kong, an Estates War Driving was conducted in three housing estates in order to compare the security level for setup of the AP conducted by the residents.

The Report on Wi-Fi Adoption and Security Survey is the survey in Hong Kong which focus on the behaviors and understanding in WiFi security of users, as a supplement of the war driving surveys throughout the 10 years.
